Carwash equipment manufacturers Ceccato S.p.A. and MacNeil Wash Systems Ltd. have entered into a strategic, cooperative agreement in which Ceccato will market, sell and support MacNeil tunnel systems through its distributor network in Europe, as well as some other international markets, the companies announced. MacNeil is based in Canada.
The relationship was launched last month during the Autopromotec expo in Bologna, Italy.
"The large range of cleaning solutions manufactured and distributed by the Ceccato Group will be enhanced by the introduction of heavy-duty and high-productivity tunnel wash systems designed and manufactured by MacNeil in North America," officials said in a joint press release.
"By combining our technological expertise, we can offer our customers a more advanced and more comprehensive range of tunnel washing solutions; a market we see presently active and changing," noted Riccardo Dolcetta, Ceccato commercial and marketing director. "The wash accuracy largely required in Europe will be combined with the typical North American throughput, with the goal of providing the best possible return on investment for high-volume wash locations."
MacNeil products will be marketed through the Ceccato distribution network, with the carwash systems branded as MacNeil-Ceccato for the European market.
